ASTC Committees

Membership Committee (closed)
Coordinate membership registration & recruitment.

Communications
To provide information to the members regarding the actions of the Board of the Directors and other committees. The Communication Committee coordinates the development of the newsletter, flyers, websites, and other general publications.

Finance Committee
Coordinate finances, collect guest payments and assist concession finances if necessary.

Plan all social events such as adult parties, holiday cookouts, ice cream socials, etc., that are sponsored by ASTC.

Concession Stand Committee
Tasks involved to run the concession stand include: finance, maintenance and staffing.

Building and Grounds Committee
Responsible for managing maintenance of facility infrastructure. This committee also manages landscape improvements and seasonal maintenance activities.

Long Term Planning Committee
Fielding feedback from membership, communicating with staff and lifeguards and overseeing pool management company operations as they relate to the facility, i.e., restrooms, patio, dance hall and pool deck.

Tennis Committee
Liaison between the pool board and tennis members on a year around basis.

We are always looking for volunteers to assist with our swim, tennis, and social activities! By helping maintain our facilities and grounds, volunteer club members help minimize our expenditures (to paid contractors), which allows more money to be made available for future swimming, tennis, and social activities as well as future facilities and grounds improvements.

We appreciate you! This pool would not run smoothly without the invaluable volunteers-our members!
