The ASTC Rules and Regulations are for the protection and benefit of all members. These rules have been established to assure the safe, enjoyable and sanitary operation of our club facilities. All members are required to review these rules and regulations carefully. Members are requested to caution their family members and guests to observe all rules and obey all instructions by the pool manager and other staff of ASTC.

Our priority is the SAFETY of all members. Please respect our rules and the direction of our lifeguard staff. If at any time you have questions or concerns about the operation of your pool, please contact a member of the Board.

Rules & Regulations
General
• All members must sign in upon entrance to the club.
• No food or glass allowed in the pool area.
• Smoking is prohibited on the pool deck and patio.
• Appropriate swim attire is required
• No pets allowed.
• Individuals performing vandalism, disorderly conduct and trespassing will be prosecuted.
• Bicycles, skateboards, scooters and rollerblades are prohibited.
• Running, rough play or excessive noise is forbidden in the pool area.
• Keep conversations on the pool phone to three minutes or less.

Swimming
• Parents are responsible for children in the kid's pool.
• Plastic pant covers and swim diapers are required.
• No diving in the shallow end.
• No running in the pool area.
• Changing diapers on the pool deck is prohibited.
Please use the restrooms.
• Children under the age of 8 may not be at the pool without adult supervision, or at the discretion of the lifeguards.
• No tennis balls in the pool area.
• Do not interfere with the lifeguards on duty.
• During adult swim periods, only swimmers 18 and older are allowed
in the pool. Non-swimmers are allowed with parents in the shallow end.
• All swimmers must immediately exit the pool when there is lightening or thunder.
• Soft sponge balls, water guns and floats are allowed in the pool only when the pool is not crowded, or at the discretion of the lifeguard.
• The pool will be closed during home swim meets. The schedule for swim meets will be posted on the bulletin board and website.

Diving Board Rules
• One person allowed on the diving board at a time
• One bounce allowed on the board
• Do not run on the diving board
• Dive or jump straight off the front of the board

Kid's Pool
• The kid's pool is primarily for the use of children under 6 years of age. Older children's access to the kid's pool will be restricted as necessary.
• There is no lifeguard supervision in the kid's pool. Parents are responsible for their children’s safety.
• Children must be accompanied by a competent adult or sitter who must be within the kid's pool fenced area at all times. Random checks will be conducted by the lifeguards. Any child found unsupervised will be removed from the kid's pool.
• No flotation devices or pool furniture are allowed in the kid's pool.
